I was so impressed with our stay. We picked this hotel due to its proximity to the park and ride into Oxford (very handy) and we noted that the hotel generally had very good reviews. I would say that we didn't have the highest of expectations booking this hotel, but we were very pleasantly surprised by how enjoyable our stay was and it was a real highlight of our weekend away. We travelled as 2 adults and our daughter (under 5). In terms of the room, it was very spacious and whilst we didn't spend a great deal of time in the room it was very comfortable. No complaints. In terms of location, it was perfect for a sightseeing trip. Only 10 minutes or less on the bus into town and a 5 minute walk to the park and ride. The bus cost £6 return (pretty good compared to the price of an Uber!). But what really made our stay exceptional were the efficient and friendly staff throughout the hotel. I would have expected the hotel experience to be quite impersonal at such a large hotel chain - but this was not the case at all. We decided to eat in the restaurant and the staff were just amazing, really friendly and attentive, and the restaurant has a very wide menu. The staff were also able to accommodate my wife's wish to watch the FA Cup Semi Final during our meal (although sadly, they couldn't do much about the result!). So I would recommend using the restaurant, particularly if you're traveling with kids. I cannot recommend this hotel more highly and I know that if I were to repeat a trip to Oxford, I would not hesitate to book this hotel again.

It was my 1st time staying at this hotel, in Oxfordshire near peartree park and ride i was greeted with a warm smile and welcome to the Holiday Inn from the lovely ladies on the reception area, I was even more taken back when I went into my room very warm, very comfortable. The only thing I didn't find the lighting wasn't extremely bright, but nevertheless, my stay was outstanding. I literally booked for 2 nights, checked in on the Friday, and by the Sunday, I went back to the Desk. asked if I could have an extension. So I booked in for an extra night, so I checked out on Monday. that alone tells you how relaxed and safe. I felt knowing that I was travelling on my own. I definitely will be booking. My return in the summer. Thank you for making my stay comfortable, relaxing, and overall. The staff was extremely friendly and professional. And not forgetting the manager, John, he was also friendly. Welcoming, and he sat down beside me and we was talking so a big. Thank you to the manager, John.

Great stay for blenheim palace event as right next door to park and ride. . Front desk greeting could have been a little more communicative, though was polite. Hostess at breakfast was exceptional. Breakfast choices great. Couple of suggestions for rooms. Better lighting room very dark even with all lighting. Very large tv was on dressing table covering all of the mirror... needs relocating. Perhaps a couple drawers for extra clothes storage. Some hooks on wall. Lack of plug sockets. Lack of tea/coffee sugar and milk in room. Biscuits would be nice. Double glazing was very effective no noise from road at all. Would definitely stay again. Good value.

Location for visiting Oxford for first time was great. Park & Ride terminal next door with regular bus service right into centre. Room was comfortable with huge bed, everything clean. Aircon superb with simple controls (was 28deg outside during our stay), fridge in room, all plumbing worked well, Dove soap dispensers a very nice touch, rather than those silly little freebie bottles you get at most hotels! TV and internet OK but channels a bit limited. Lifts to all floors. Plenty of parking. Restaurant was good, lots of choice, nicely cooked. Breakfast was very good indeed. Staff mostly very friendly and helpful. Cost reasonable.

This hotel is lovely and it has a great outdoor area. The staff are wonderful, and dealt with a difficult situation perfectly when someone accused a member of the bar staff of being rude. He was just making a valid point and was not rude at all. I just thought I'd put that out there in the hope management see it and don't give him a hard time. Breakfast - there was so much choice and what I had was very good.
